Full Description:
The position of Quantity Surveyor has been opened for a freelance candidate within Aberdeen. Running for approximately 6 months with a Rate of £26 - £32 per hour + Overtime.


About the Job:

The role requires an experienced Quantity Surveyor to prepare various quantities and deal with contractual matters. Preparing pre and post contract budgets will be expected, whilst preparing progress payments for our client. The main project orientation will be based on timber kit housing. Construction experience for this role is essential, with previous timber kit housing involvement desired but not essential. The client is one of the largest independently owned house building companies based in Scotland, with whom the position is expected to run for approximately 6 months.


Requirements:

Degree Level Qualified or Equivalent
In-depth knowledge of Construction and experience in Quantity Surveying
Ability to take off quantities
Ability to prepare progress payments and bills of quantity
Track record of Site management/Project management
Take ownership for quality delivery
Current valid driving license


Remuneration:

Salary negotiable between £26 - £32 per hour, with overtime a further option.
