THE ROLE
As the IT Infrastructure/Network Manager you will be responsible for the key infrastructure of the organisation. This is an exciting time of change, and your role will be busy and challenging. You will be required to manage a small support team, as well as being 100% hands-on yourself. You will be required to communicate with senior managers, developers, and support staff, therefore you must be a confident individual.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
EXPERIENCE
You must be an experienced Infrastructure/Network Manager already and be looking for a more exciting and challenging role.
Managing and supporting IT systems and applications, ensuring their planning and implementation with minimal business interruption
Enabling the smooth transaction of all software development, testing the robustness and security of the IT infrastructure
Setting standards for IT use
Managing the procurement, implementation, security and maintenance of telecommunications equipment and utilities.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Previous experience of leading a small team
Excellent communication skills
Windows 2003 server/XP desktop
Active Directory
DNS/DHCP
LAN/WAN
CISCO networking experience
VOIP telephone system
SQL server
