Full Description:
The position of Assistant Quantity Surveyor has been opened for a freelance candidate within the Aberdeen area. Running for approximately 12 weeks or longer with a Rate of £10 - £14 per hour + Overtime.


About the Job:

The role requires a trainee or graduate QS to contribute to the preparation of various quantities and deal with contractual matters. Sub contract set up will be required, include various quantity takes, whilst overlooking all procedures. The selected candidate may be required to travel between various domestic sites, analysing the work being performed according to plans reviewed. The cost of each domestic contact is expected to range between £15,000 - £100,000. Construction experience for this role is desired but not essential. The client is a reputable local glass and window supplier/installer.


Requirements:

Knowledge of Construction and Engineering
Ability to improve performance and quality
Degree Qualified or equivalent
Take ownership for quality delivery
Current valid driving license


Remuneration:

Salary negotiable between £10 - £14 per hour (depending on experience), with overtime a further option.
