THE ROLE First People Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Rapid Applications Developer with an ability to build / enhance applications without detailed specifications to join a successful and growing team within our prestigious blue chip financial services client. This role faces off to the Business Managers within Sales and Marketing to produce reporting solutions to the business. This role is for a developer / analyst who has strong knowledge of Microsoft technology and can take on the support of the tools that are built in C# on the front-end and SQL server on the back-end. The candidate needs to be able to pick up the tools and be able to enhance and or maintain the existing code. The candidate will be part of a team of established team of developers / analysts whose responsibility is to support a suite of RAD tools. In addition applicants will be expected to liaise with both colleagues and business managers therefore excellent communication skills are a must for this role. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate will be very experienced in the following areas in order of preference:- 1.SQL Server 2000 2.VBA 3.Excel To pivot table level 4.Access 5.C# or .Net Business skills Good grasp of generic financial processing.
