Full Description:
The main purpose of the job is to support the Wind Farm Operations Group in the analysis and presentation of technical performance data of the wind farm assets and the implementation of improvement measures.


You will be involved in the delivery of technical performance reports for all wind farms. Review of contractors technical performance reports. Review quality of SCADA data and communication systems. Carry out detailed analysis of downtime and review improvement process. Support investment review of proposed capital expenditures. Manage/coordinate repair of communication and SCADA assets. Improve and develop portfolio performance analysis tools. Carry out SCADA due diligence process for all new wind farms. Support wind farm portfolio development engineer in specification, procurement and hand over process related to SCADA and communication issues. Support wind farm performance coordinator in delivery of management daily, weekly and monthly reports.


You should have the ability to work independently, responding to management information requirements via efficient and quality processes. Ability to communicate with all organisation levels on very specific technical issues. Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver against specific deadlines consistently.

You should very strong analytical skills, strong IT Application skills; Excel, Access, Visual Basics, and other programming languages. If candidates have experience of wind farm performance analysis and use of SCADA systems this would be very desirable. Knowledge of Data Management Systems is also desirable. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills. Knowledge of Quality systems including documentation control systems, process control, audit desirable.
