Full Description:
An experienced or qualified quantity surveyor required to join a well-established and still booming civil engineering contractor.

Client
With years of experience, my client is a family owned business employing 123 people. In December 05 the running of the Company was signed over to three sons who have extensive, exciting plans for the future.

Their range of services include:
Finished Concrete Floors
Footpaths
Driveways and Earthworks including lock block
Planer, Paving Machine and other Plant for hire
Drainage
Mainline Sewer Works
Road works
Service Ducting

Their main clients include all major developers both main contractors, housing developers and local authorities. By the end of this year, they are expected to have more than 70 sites, with them as far a field as Inverness and Dundee, as well as in the local area around Aberdeen

You.
You will be reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and the Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will possess a HNC/HND or a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. The main duties will be shadowing the Quantity Surveyor in every aspect of the job. A background in the construction industry is a definite bonus, but not necessary. This is a fantastic career opportunity for an ambitious career focused candidate.
