Senior Manager Corporate Actions Glasgow£55000-£60000(dependant on experience)

THE ROLE

The Manager will be accountable for managing a team of individuals who are responsible for
providing clients with a Corporate Actions service for all assets held in custody. The individual will be responsible for managing multiple teams of individuals who are accountable for collating all market intelligence in both the UK and International market, notifying clients of any capital reorganisations, collating responses and ultimately ensuring that the outturn of the capital reorganisation is distributed to clients in the form of cash or stock in an accurate and timely manner. The role holder will provide a service to a diverse client base inclusive of, investment managers, private Clients and private banking and will ensure that all communications and reporting are tailored according to the demands of the clients and comply with regulatory obligations. management of resource, risk and quality of the product is crucial, while acting as referral and approval point to staff and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that all processes have appropriate and consistent measures in place across multiple platforms and that all key risk and quality indicators evolve in line with the growth of the business. implement productivity measures and set the benchmarks appropriate to the teams knowledge and capability so that all service level agreements are maintained or improved upon.

Liaise with key product stakeholders over a multiple client base to ensure excellent customer service. Where possible work with stakeholders to leverage best practice and consistency in products.
Lead a high performing team to achieve its business goals by exhibiting role model behaviours, be responsible for the development and coaching of colleagues, conducting regular coaching sessions and periodic performance reviews thus realising the development potential of staff.
Drive the team to achieve service excellence in their field. leading by example, the role holder will raise awareness of the Organisations mission and values.

THE EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience in managing multiple teams for differing processes within a Corporate actions environment, ensuring the implementation and execution of all hr tasks including but not limited to, performance development and managing attendance. The role holder will create, prepare and control the management information related to the team and have the ability to interact and communicate with staff at all levels. A key deliverable will be to demonstrate the ability to lead the team while motivating and developing their direct reports and the wider group. the right candidate must demonstrate strong commercial and risk awareness.
