THE ROLE: HR Advisor

Location: Glasgow > Scotland

Salary: Up to £27000 per annum, company car, laptop + additional benefits

Hours: Full time hours, Permanent

THE COMPANY

First People HR are currently seeking a Human Resource Advisor for our client based in Glasgow. Our client is a leader in their field with over 50 years experience in their industry employing 7500 throughout the UK with an impressive annual turnover.

THE ROLE

Working within a advisory capacity you will be responsible for the covering the Scottish region as well as occasional travel to the North of England.

This role is a key position within a rapidly expanding HR department. The role will be very employee relations focused, working in an operational capacity. You will be responsible for the case management of discipline and grievances cases. The role will also include the monitoring of long term absence and resolution of issues surrounding absence management. This is a generalist role and will encompass all other aspects of HR.

The role will also include the training and coaching of managers in relation to the HR policies and procedures. Ultimately you will oversee the implementation of all HR policies and ensure all sites are compliant.


EXPERIENCE

The successful applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent industry background, a CIPD membership would also be desired. Essentially you will have broad knowledge of employment law and employee relations. Working within a fast paced and commercially focused environment you should be comfortable dealing with employees of all levels up to Director level.

This is an ideal position for someone already working within a HR advisory capacity who is looking for a fresh exciting, demanding and challenging role.
