| Senior Settlements Manager Glasgow£40000-£55000(dependant on experience) THE COMPANY A exciting and challenging role has become available due to expansion with one of the UKs largest diversified financial services companies. THE ROLE The Manager will be accountable for managing a team of individuals who are responsible for the Settlement services within the UK domestic and International market to clients across diverse segments within; Private Banking, Private Clients and Investment Management. The role holder will manage a number of staff, directing this team to deliver all standard settlements processing in accordance with internal customer and external FSA regulatory requirements. A Key requirement of this role will involve ensuring the management of resource, risk and quality of the product, while acting as referral and approval point to staff and clients. The key duties of the role will involve ensuring that all Key Risk and Quality Indicators evolve in line with the growth of the business. Implement productivity measures and set the benchmarks appropriate to the teams knowledge and capability ensuring that all service level agreements are maintained or improved upon. Migrate Settlement activity within the allocated timescales. Streamline functions, eliminating duplication, highlighting best practice and ensuring consistent measurements of service delivery. Responsible for managing team development through structured Performance Development plans. The individual will also be responsible for driving their self development while being supported by their line manager. THE EXPERIENCE The successful candidate will have previous relevant Experience in managing the full range of disciplines within the Settlement arena. Ensuring the implementation and execution of all tasks including but not limited to, performance development and managing attendance. The role holder will create, prepare and control the Management Information related to the team and have the ability to interact and communicate with staff at all levels.
