Full Description:
We are currently looking to recruit a Waterfront Support Engineer/Senior to work at the Submarine Support Management Group (SSMG) in Faslane.

The main purpose of this role is to resolve urgent operational submarine enquiries, maintaining at all times a close liaison with all Naval Base Authorities, Class Managers, SubIPT's and SSMG Keynsham. This support includes attending various Test and Trials working group meetings, and in relation to SSMG and SubIPT requirements, overseeing visiting contractors to HMNB Clyde

The post holder will also assist the Team Leader in the provision of in-service support to Platform and Combat aspects of either Strategic or Fleet submarines, by delivering a high quality response to the Submarine Class Manager's and SubIPT's.

The ideal candidate will be education to ONC/OND level or equivalent, with suitable submarine support experience.
