Full Description:
Our client, a leading Engineering Consultancy, requires a Senior/Principal Wind Farm/Development Site Infrastructure Engineer.

Duties include

To Design & Manage the Design of multi-disciplinary Wind Farm & Development Site Infrastructure Projects.
To supervise and manage the financial performance & delivery of multi-disciplinary wind farm & development infrastructure projects.
To ensure that training, learning & development objectives of team staff is met and assist with the mentoring of team staff where appropriate.
To develop and manage new and existing client relationships ensuring a high standard of technical and financial delivery.
To assist in the preparation / presentation of proposals / bid documentation including estimating time-scales & costs to further develop the Wind Farm Infrastructure Business.


Qualifications required
Preferably Honours Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering but would consider HND or HNC with relevant experience. Professional Qualifications or working towards a Professional Qualification would be beneficial.

Experience required
Significant experience within the design & design management of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects covering; development & wind farm site road / access works, sustainable drainage strategies, earthworks design including ground modelling works, site servicing strategies, appreciation of heavy foundation engineering, significant experience within Statutory Consultations and in obtaining Statutory Approvals (RCC / Environmental Agency & SEPA approvals / Warrants). Previous experience of developer client, leading multi-disciplinary teams, general project management, significant experience within the design of infrastructure works and client / design & construction team interface coupled with good communication skills is a must.
