Full Description:
Our client are a national civil engineeringcontractor who due to continued expansion are looking to recruit a health and safety manager for the central belt.
Duties willincludeauditing andinspection of multi-million pound civil engineering contracts, andadviceon:

- All aspects of health and safety and the environment to site staff and employees at all levels
- The production of risk assessments and method statements, including COSHH, manual handling etc
- Compliance with the CDM Regulations including advice and assistance to in house designers and estimators
- Running and developing the company safety system, particularly in developing pro-active approaches towards safety management

The company is ISO 14001 certified and accordingly there are environmental responsibilities attached to the position
