Looking for a career challenge? Our client is different and this is a genuine opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to progress their career, especially for any QSs who feel they have hit a glass ceiling. This role also has the potential of company shares and bonus on offer for the succesful applicant. Our client are a building contractor with a development company operating in tandem. They are based in Edinburgh and focus primarily on high-spec bespoke renovation projects. You will have full commercial responsibility, managing your own budgets for all projects and as such this is a real chance to work under your own initiative. You may come from a housebuilding, PQS or a main contracting background. The role is office based with site visits as necessary. Current developments include a £1.3 million city centre church renovation. There are a number of projects in the pipeline typically circa £1-2.5 million in value. You will report direct to the Group Managing Director.
