THE ROLE
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £16,500 per annum

Reporting to: Office Manager

THE COMPANY
Due to the implementation of a new contract, a leading Distribution company are now looking to recruit an experienced Radio Controller to join their successful Edinburgh office. This role is suited to a highly experienced Radio Controller who currently works for either a Distribution company or a Taxi Firm. The role involves:

Allocating over 300 deliveries a day to a number of drivers
Allocating jobs to drivers using a Radio system
Being able to remember locations of drivers and what other jobs have been allocated to the drivers for that day
Working within tight schedules to make sure that all parcels are delivered on time
Having an excellent knowledge of Edinburgh, West Lothian, East Lothian, Midlothian and Fife so that you know the distance between different delivery points


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful for this role you need to have extensive experience of working in a similar role. This role offers the potential for an experienced Radio Controller to join in a Supervisory role.
