THE ROLE First People Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Applications Support Analyst to join a successful and growing team within our prestigious blue chip financial services client. This is a high pressure role where the successful candidate will be supporting live systems and dealing with mission critical applications therefore experience working in a fast paced environment is essential. The successful candidate must also have strong technical skills from at least 2 projects with a background in Unix Shell Scripting and SQL. Desirable skills include Solaris, Linux and Sybase. In addition applicants will be expected to liaise with both colleagues and clients at all levels therefore communication skills are a must for this role, the ability to advise and manage expectations is a crucial. Any exposure to object orientated code would be advantageous Career opportunities with our client are diverse therefore ambitious and motivated self starters are well suited to this environment.
