| New Job: Team Leader - Roads Job Location: Glasgow (Uddingston) Job Salary: £37500 - £45000 + Car, Pension, Healthcare, Free Parking As a Team Leader (Roads), reporting to the Division Manager, you will manage a team of Engineers and Technicians undertaking the design and procurement of trunk road and Local Authority schemes. This role is based in Glasgow (Uddingston). The office is close to Glasgow city centre and all major motorway links. There is also free parking. Leading a roads design team, you will ensure that projects are delivered within the timescales, quality and costs agreed with the client. You will build excellent working relationships with clients and supply chain partners and deliver roads design engineering solutions. You will monitor project finances on an on-going basis as well as assisting in forward financial and operational planning of project and programmes. A key aspect of the role is the mentoring and development of staff through assigning challenging tasks and providing support and coaching as required. The right applicant will be preferably chartered, however will have extensive roads design experience (major roads schemes) from feasibility through to completion. You will have comprehensive knowledge of the DMRB.
