| Senior Manager Cash Operations Glasgow£50000-£60000(dependant on experience) THE COMPANY With a reputation for excellence and providing first class customer service a exciting and challenging role has become available due to expansion with one of the UKs largest diversified financial services companies. THE ROLE Accountable for leading a team delivering a high quality Cash Processing service to its clients in a diverse range of business segments including investment management, private banking and brokerage. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of exceptional business performance and will be responsible for providing an excellent level of service through the provision of accurate and timely processing of cash transactions. The candidate will work in a demanding environment and be able to show attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines whilst monitoring and checking the work of others and providing coaching to colleagues whilst leading a team to deliver cash processing activity in the UK and Foreign markets in accordance with FSA and local regulatory requirements with a focus on accurate and timely execution. The role holder will keep informed of all new market initiatives and evolve our processes and products as required. . THE EXPERIENCE The successful candidate will possess strong leadership within a banking or securities settlement environment is essential. The candidate will have a proven record within an operational environment demonstrating a well developed understanding of operational processes and the concept of risk management and control. The candidate should have an awareness of market initiatives, both global and local. Exposure to the UK regulatory environment and experience of audit processes is also desirable. You must have a track record of leading a team in a high performing individuals within a regulated environment including the experience of developing the talents of colleagues. The candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with a positive can do attitude, commitment and a focus on succeeding in a challenging environment. The ability to contribute and challenge within a team to improve performance will be essential along with the ability to communicate with peers and senior members of the team. The candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work accurately to deadlines and will be committed to proactively seeking new and innovative customer focused solutions.
