| Project Architect required for Edinburgh based private practice with a great combination of design conscious and commercially practical architecture. The practice has a low turnover of staff an exciting workload with projects ranging across a variety of sectors. The office has a professional feel without the trappings of a large commercial private practice and employs a number of talented designers. The practice has projects completed and ongoing in the commercial sectors including; bars, restaurants and office developments. The practice has experience working on projects with a focus on listed buildings and churches. You would initially be working on fit-out and refurbishment projects for a major corporate client, however the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects exists to committed candidates. An understanding of commercial architecture for office buildings would be extremely beneficial as well as knowledge in the application of Scottish National Building Regulations.
