THE COMPANY

THE ROLE
My client requires an enthusiastic and talented graduate with some experience in and interest in Middleware (MQ Series, Message Broker, Datastage TX, IBM Websphere etc)

Daily duties will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and test Websphere Message Broker flows, to meet agreed specifications,.
- Analyse business requirements, processes and procedures in order to establish system
requirements.
- Develop solutions and specifications converting agreed requirements into a functional design.
- Provide environment support for designated projects for the various test and live environments.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Computer science or related degree, minimum 2:2 and graduated in the last 24 months
Experience and expertise in IT development.
Minimum experience required is XML and MQ series or Websphere MQ knowledge
Systems Analysis/design essential
Must be a quick learner with the ability to appreciate and apply all current standards and principles
Self motivated - ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision.
Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers
Willingness to operate in a flexible environment and embrace change
Delivery focused and able to work under pressure

DESIRABLE:
Websphere Message Broker V6.0 and/or Datastage V6.7 or Datastage TX Node V8 preferable.
MVS, CICS, MQ, and/or Unix experience preferable
General experience on other platforms useful
Business Process Modelling useful
