| ROLE: Oracle/SQL Database Administrator Location: Edinburgh/Glasgow Salary: £40k (full package £50k) Benefits Package: Excellent THE COMPANY First People Solutions are recruiting for their National IT Services and Consultancy client based in the central belt of Scotland THE ROLE We are recruiting for a highly experienced Oracle/SQL Database Administrator for our IT Services and Consultancy client. This is very much a consultancy type role, and as such, versatility, adaptability, and excellent customer facing skills are a must as well as excellent technical ability in both Oracle and SQL. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Solid Oracle (9i / 10g / 11g) & SQL DBA skills are essential and you must possess experience of at least 4 large scale, blue chip commercial projects The successful candidate will have a proven record in consultancy type roles, and will be comfortable working both in-house and on various client sites. This role requires excellent communicators with advanced client facing skills who are capable of in depth technical discussion with a range of business areas.
