THE ROLE PORTFOLIO ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Glasgow
Salary:Negotiable
Benefits Package: Excellent Package
This major Financial Services Organisation is looking to further strengthen the support function in their Portfolio Accounting and Fund Services team. They are looking for a PORTFOLIO ADMINISTRATOR to be responsible for the analysis and reconciliation of Hedge Fund Portfolios.
Specifically, you will:-
Identify large P/L variances and determine if P/L is valid
Record and monitor positions from other custodians.
Review and reconcile general ledger exceptions
Identify illogical positions and make necessary adjustments
Identify overdue accruals for validity and make necessary adjustments
Review dividend and coupon accruals for accuracy
Adjust activity as necessary for fund performance, processing and reporting as necessary
Accrue daily and/or monthly non-security related expenses
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for this role, you should be a graduate with some relevant industry experience or already be working in a Portfolio or Fund Accounting team. Whilst directly relevant experience is preferred, the ability to learn, communicate and adapt is essential.
