| Hays Energy are recruiting Safety Engineers for an independent consultancy who assist clients in major hazard industries and commercial sectors to operate safely and manage their business risk. Due to the continued success of our civil nuclear and defence industry business, we are seeking highly motivated, dynamic individuals with knowledge and experience of nuclear safety cases. Successful applicants will be employed to supplement our civil nuclear and defence industry sector based out of the Warrington Office, with potential opportunities in our Glasgow office. Ideally, you will have experience in a number of the following areas: Hazard identification, HAZOP, FMEA, human error review, design basis assessment, PSA, development of SFRs, design substantiation, ALARP assessment, safety case writing. Similar experience and transferable knowledge outside these areas will also be considered where it could be used to develop and strengthen our other business lines. Training can be provided for less experienced candidates.
