Full Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a newly established private practice based in East Lothian. Our client is a well-established Architectural practice, which has been running for over 12 years based in the West coast of Scotland.

This significant opportunity now exists for innovative and enthusiastic designers who wish to develop their careers and experience a wide and varied range of development projects in a friendly and enabling working environment. Our clients current portfolio consists of a variety of projects, key areas will initially be commercial and residential sectors.

These include:
* Large well known hotel chain with 5 new developments currently at planning stage
* Several residential projects in conjunction with a large developer throughout Scotland
* Healthcare projects for council in the West of Scotland

As the practice grows however, you will be given exposure to various other sectors. Playing a key role in the larger projects whilst also being given the autonomy and responsibility for smaller scale projects. Suitable applicants will have a strong attitude towards architecture and a natural flair for design.

Proven experience of running projects, a sound understanding of UK regulations and proficiency in AutoCAD is an essential requirement to the role.

Career prospects are strong as long-term plans are to grow the practice to a staff level of around 6 in the year to come. Working week will consist of 35 hours, however there will be flexible working hours and a 4pm finish on Friday. Our client encourages a very flexible working environment and is keen to create a team that reflects this ethos.
