Our well established and respected client who are well known in their market sector require an excellent Marketing Manager to drive their expanding business forward.

Your Main Responsibilties:
• Drive retail marketing through working with the retail team to develop in-store communications and identify key areas that can be improved to aid both directional and tactical sales.
• Manage and develop the execution of the marketing communication strategy
• Work with the buying department and retail department to ensure the smooth operation and delivery of all product marketing
• National retail campaign managemet and in-store product promotions.
• Work closely with the VM team to deliver effective and progressive window programs and developments that will drive retail sales.
• Oversee development and on-going marketing on the website including the tie in of product related features relevant to company promotions, with an overall aim to drive sales and gain better customer insight and maximise basket spend working to set KPI' s.
• Work closely with suppliers to develop co-branded campaigns to drive sell-through on specific brands/ products in tandem with overall retail calendar of events.
• Oversee local shop marketing initiatives and local promotions, ensuring they work within set budgets and achieve ROI on any spend.
• Overall responsibility for delivering all communications within budget.
• Manage day to day operations of the marketing department and marketing budget.
• Line manager to all marketing staff within group.
• Responsible for ensuring that requests for sponsorship are assessed appropriately and that appropriate levels of sponsorship are authorised.
• Responsible for working alongside senior managers within the retail and buying departments to create and implement a marketing calendar for company
The Ideal Candidate will have:
• Retail marketing experience
• Ability to proactively look at areas and ideas, and develop them.
• Solid background and understanding in both Direct Marketing and CRM, with a clear understanding of market segmentation and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as develop and manage good working relationships with agencies, suppliers, brands and sponsored partners.
• Be pro-active, self-motivated and be able to work through challenges/ problems and take a flexible and dynamic approach to projects.
• Good analytical skills.
• Awareness of market changes and flexibility to adapt.
• Excellent organisational skills.
