JOB TITLE - Business Systems Analyst - Payment Services / BACS / SWIFT
LOCATION - GLASGOW CITY CENTRE

THE ROLE
My client is looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with excellent knowledge of the Payment Services ideally gained within a Financial Services / Investment Bank.

THE ROLE
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our payment service team, reporting to the Business Analysis manager.
The successful applicant will work closely with members of the business analysis team and will be responsible for full development lifecycle of requirements for a specific business line. Additionally the business analyst will own the relationship with the business sponsor and user base.
Areas of responsibility are:
Relationship management with business sponsors and user base
Requirement gathering, prioritisation, analysis, specification and testing
Producing functional specifications for requirements, communicating and obtaining business sign off
Liaison with developers for software build
Managing and signing off system testing phases
Coordinating UAT and business sign off
User training
Liaising with Release team to ensure successful and smooth implementation
Liaising with Operate support teams
Product Competencies:
Practical experience of Financial Servcies products would be a major advantage. An element of Financial Services experience or Investment Banking would be ideal.
Technical Competencies:
Basic to Intermediate in RDBMS
Some experience of data modeling would be an advantage
Person Specification:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
A flexible approach to hours when meeting targets
Strong team attitude
