Our client, based in Aberdeen, is the world leader in the harsh environment video industry, dealing with the oil & gas, petrochemical and defence industries amongst others.
They are currently seeking Engineering Technicians to support their current design team, and provide technical support on existing products.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1).HNC / HND Electrical / Electronics
2).2 or more years experience in a similar position.
3).Familiar with ROV equipment integration.
4).Experience of panel / instrumentation wiring
5).Should be computer literate
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1).Occasional offshore trips to assist with equipment commissioning
2).Practical electronic and mechanical skills
3).Ability to work with minimal supervision
4).Work to tight specifications & schedules and within the company quality system
5).Carry out equipment testing, working to test procedures.
6).Able to read and follow circuit and wiring diagrams
