| THE ROLE: Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Glasgow Salary:Negotiable Benefits:Excellent Benefits Package FPSG are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Glasgow office of a multi award winning Consulting Engineers. The successful candidates responsibilities will include the delivery and project management of the Mechanical Building Services Design on assigned projects. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality and efficiency of the Mechanical Services design and post contract implementation offered by our client. You should have experience of a supervisory role over junior engineering staff assigned to your projects and shall assist in their personal development. Our clients present workload include projects within the residential, retail and education and their passion for the professional development of their staff marks this out as a fantastic opportunity for a committed and ambitious engineer to progress their career to the next level. The following are desired: 5 - 8 years project experience of which at least 3 years must have been total project responsibility/delivery. Strong record in project management, delivery and quality. People skills and demonstrable man management and client facing skills. Hold a valid UK Driving Licence Be prepared to travel to meetings and projects as necessary. Mostly central Scotland but occasional work in other parts of UK and Europe that may necessitate an overnight stay.
