Full Description:
This major academic organisation in Edinburgh is currently looking to recruit a specialist L&D consultant for an initial 6 month contract with the view for this to be extended to 12 months as the role develops.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Talent and Culture, you will have shared responsibility for a systems implementation project within the department. This role will see the successful candidate involved in the initial stages of an upgrade of the existing Oracle HR software. The upgrade is intended to improve the personal learning and development tracking function of the system for all employees across the department.

Key skills for this role will include:
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak with confidence and credibility to all stake holders at all levels of the business
* Very good systems knowledge - specific knowledge of Oracle or a similar HR package would be hugely beneficial.
* Excellent consultancy skills - with a proven track record of liaising with all levels of the business to gain information required to move the project forward
* Ability to work to short deadlines over a 6 - 12 month period, including statistical and financial reporting skills
