Senior Project Planner Edinburgh/Glasgow

One of the world's leading project management and construction companies with a presence in over 40 countries.

With an annual turnover in excess of £700 million and profits from fee-based construction continually increasing through a varied workload, this team of professionals are seeking a Senior Project Planner to become involved in their success.

This business develops by using industry best practices when working with clients to create high quality, sustainable property assets, resulting in repeat business to the order book and close working relationships with prestigious organisations.

Ideally the sought individual will have a proven track record within Project Planning and have the technical ability to use the current software to build robust CPN programmes. The knowledge of how to create realistic production outputs and work sequences are desirable skills and proficiency in the use of a wide range of computerised planning and costing tolls -Primavera (P3/5/6) preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with all aspects and phases of the projects lifecycle as well as working knowledge of critical path networks, bar and Gantt chart scheduling and conventional graphs, through to the project hierarchy to represent design, procurement, site construction and management control would be advantageous.

On a daily basis the successful individual will have overall responsibility for all technical aspects of planning and programming and providing practical input and knowledge with the rest of the team into the establishment and agreement of project deadlines. The role will entail contract obligations, programming, procurement, design, construction, cost / income, quality, H&S, business processes and general administration.
