My client currently requires a Senior Project Manager to join their ever thriving Edinburgh based team. This national contractor have several, highly prestigious projects currently running in the East of Scotland and are continuing to tender for and win new work at an ever increasing rate.
They are part of the biggest construction company in the UK with an annual turnover of around £10billion in Scotland, alone. With over 2500 employees UK wide, they have an outstanding list of past, current and future projects to boast of.
As Senior Project Manager, you will report to the Construction Director and have overall control of your own projects from inception through to completion.
The role will enable you to get involved in pre and post contract work - liaising with clients and sub-contractors, ensuring projects are delivered ontime and within budget.
You will ideally have a proven track record in the successful delivery of commercial projects in excess of £5million in value at a senior level. Good communication and the ability to motivate teams are highly advantageous as is a background in engineering.
You will predominantly be based in Edinburgh however you may be required to travel from time to time so flexibility in this area is a must.
In return, you will be given a highly competitive basic salary, a car or car allowance, private healthcare for you and your family, a project specific bonus, contributory pension scheme and working hours of 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 2:30pm on a Friday.
