    Customer Services Manager (Maternity Cover)

    Location: Pollokshields

    Salary: circa £25,000
    Working hours: 35 Hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
    Benefits Package: Annual performance related bonus, share save scheme, free parking and other attractive benefits

    Reporting to the Customer Focus, Marketing and Regulation Director, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and managing a team of Customer Service Business Co-ordinators and Advisors (approx 60 heads) to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved and agreed service levels are met. You should be highly motivated and have strong people management skills.

    Responsibilities include:

    "Review and plan team workloads to ensure the continuous delivery of agreed service levels.
    "Ensure that the recruitment, training and development of Customer Service Advisors are to the required standard and are appropriately trained to achieve service levels.
    "Review and assess individual and team performance on a regular basis to ensure objectives are achieved.
    "Motivate individuals and team to encourage ongoing achievement of results, good morale and low labour turnover.
    "Communicate and liase with team members, other departments and the management team to facilitate effective communication of relevant issues within the department and with other areas of the business.
    "Produce relevant and concise management information - e.g. Key Business Indicators.
    "Adhere to HR policies and procedures ensuring a fair and consistent approach to managing staff is adopted all times.
    "Process and compile payroll for Customer Focus Department.
    "Carry out monthly 1-2-1s, team meetings and support for Business Co-ordinators.
    "Authorise refunds from £1000 - £5000 and Chaps Payments
    "Ensure that departmental budgets and headcounts are adhered to.

    Ideally you will have experience in a customer service environment (preferably within a call centre) together with excellent management skills. In addition you will have the ability to make accurate decisions and will have well-developed problem solving techniques. An excellent communicator with strong influencing skills, you should be able to work well with your team but also have the ability to work on your own initiative.
