THE COMPANY
FPSG are recruiting for their prestigious blue chip client based in Glasgow City Centre. This blue chip employer offers both excellent career progression opportunities and a supportive learning environment to nurture and develop your skills.
THE ROLE
A highly demanding support role within a critical 24/7 environment. The role will utilise your strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and of course a strong technical background in UNIX / SQL support.
This role involves shift work, and will also have a requirement for occasional work in London.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
UNIX/LINUX
SQL
Proved track record in application support
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage time and prioritise workloads
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Object Orientated development exposure - Java, C++, .NET, or VB
Sybase
