Our client is a multi disciplinary practice of professional surveying, valuation, land management and estate agency services. Currently seeking an Architectural CAD technician for their Scottish Borders office. They are offering a competitive salary, holidays and benefits package within a flexible working environment and a dynamic energetic team.
Work is involved around the following sectors, residential; including steading and barn conversions, new build developments and a small number of house extensions they are also involved in a number of industrial projects industrial and agricultural projects (ranging from £50k through to £1m).
Your position will offer you the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals within a successful team of Architects, Building Surveyors and fellow Architectural Technicians. You will be qualified to minimum HNC level in Architectural Technology and have demonstrable industry working as such. You should have working knowledge of UK building regulations and planning applications along with experience working on construction and full working drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. You will be involved from inception to completion, allowing the opportunity to get on site and be completely involved with a project.
