    Our client is a world leader in power engineering consultancy, providing a wide range of energy-related services to both public and private sector clients. They provide advice to decision makers on matters as diverse as long-term energy plans; tariff studies; energy economics; feasibility studies for new projects; regulatory reform; and valuations, mergers and acquisitions.



    They are currently seeking a number of experienced Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineers to join their Power Generation team based in Newcastle.

    Chemical Engineers

    The chemical section provides technical input into a wide variety of power generation projects. Environmental support is also provided by the section.



    You will be responsible for providing all aspects of chemical and environmental support to electrical power generation projects. This support will include involvement in feasibility studies, environmental impacts and consents, integrated pollution control, fuel combustion and water chemistry. The duties will involve technical specification and adjudication, design review, technical audit, due diligence, environmental statements. Experience in dispersion modelling would be an advantage.


    Requirements:
    Successful candidates for all of the above disciplines will be Chartered / Degree Qualified, enthusiastic and a committed professional with experience in some or all or the required duties. Relevant experience of the power generation industry would be beneficial but not essential. First rate reporting and communication skills are crucial. Opportunities exist for travel within the UK and overseas.
