    Health and Safety Manager required for Edinburgh

    Our client are currently looking for a Health and Safety manager to join there Edinburgh Team and will cover sites throughout the central belt.

    Daily Duties will include:
    Accountable to the Health & Safety Manager/Health & Safety Support Services Manager for the provision of intelligent health & safety advice and support.
    Developing/implementation and review of SHE policies/processes that ensure compliance with statutory legislation.
    Conducting monitoring program for control of contractors activities to ensure compliance with safety policies/process and procedures.
    Conducting Site Compliance Inspections,accident investigation,active Monitoring in a competent and professional manner ensuring that deficiencies are identified to the appropriate Line Management function.
    Provide direct support to Line Management in their assigned areas including, Incident investigation, provision of incident statistical data, and attend SHE Meetings/Committees.

    This will be within the clients construction division and relevant experience is essential, preferably of multi-million pound projects. Candidates will be educated to at least Nebosh level, with a degree or affiliation to IOSH an advantage. The successful candidate must be able to fit quickly intodeveloped team and be able to work on their own initiative.
