Our client is one of the worlds leading project management and construction companies. The Group has a presence in over 40 countries and has anannual turnover in excess of £695 million.They have been involved in prestigious projects such as a Shopping Mall in Pollock, the BBCs Scotland Headquarters, the Scottish Parliament Buildings, as well the South Lanarkshire Primary Schools. Working as a Planner on a Fife basedproject, you will take overall responsibility for all technical aspects of planning and programming plus providing practical input and knowledge with the rest of the team into the establishment and agreement of project plan and programmes. There are3 large projects in Edinburgh/east coast of Scotland areain the pipeline. You will create the programme thatreflects the plan and sequencing agreed by the team covering all stages of the project through design, procurement, and construction and commissioning andinput proactively into the formulation of the plan and sequencing. You should ideally have a working knowledge ofscheduling and conventional graphs right through the project hierarchy to represent design, procurement, site construction and management control. You will be planning manager for a variety of projects & Tenders including:
3 office blocks, approximately 5-6 storeys high with a value of £40m.
The refurbishment of a 180-bedroom Georgian Hotel, £15m
£30m new build medical teaching block.
Future work load includes competitive/negotiated tenders
