Job profile My client are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to support a partner of the firm. You will work alongside a team of secretaries ensuring adequate cover and secretarial support. You must be an accurate audio and copy typist with minimum speed 65wpm.
You will work well under pressure in terms of deadlines and volume of work. You will have a proven ability to manage fee-earners expectations. Proactive nature and good organiser.
Candidates should have a consistent work history, preferably having come from a legal secretary role in which they directly supported at least one Partner.
Company Information My client are a leading legal organization with offices across the world, their centrally located Glasgow office is easily accessed by several modes of public transport.
Experience & Qualifications You will have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Secretary, enjoy working as part of a team with flexibility in terms of supporting others, whether fee earners or secretaries. You will be a fast, accurate audio typist will use digital dictation.
File retrieval/post matching
Diary management and organising business trips, flights etc for fee earners
Professional telephone manner client contact
General responsibilities such as faxing
Knowledge of Windows 2000 Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Outlook email
Benefits - 22 days rising to 25 days in 5 years, plus public holidays, Stakeholder pension fund, Private health
