Customer Relations Team Leader

Location: Pollokshields

Salary: £19,700 per annum

. Reporting to the Customer Relations Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and managing a team of Customer Relations Advisors to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved and agreed service levels are met. You should be highly motivated and have strong people management skills.

Main duties will include:

"Review and plan team workloads to ensure the continuous delivery of agreed service levels
"Recruit, train and develop Customer Relation Advisors to ensure that the correct calibre of staff is in place as required and are appropriately trained to achieve service levels.
"Review and assess individual and team performance on a regular basis and ensure objectives are achieved.
"Motivate individuals and team to encourage ongoing achievement of results, good morale and low labour turnover
"Communicate and liaise with team members, other departments and the management team to facilitate effective communication of relevant issues with the department and with other areas of the business.
"Produce relevant and concise management information - e.g. Key Business Indicators
"Adhere to HR policies and procedures ensuring a fair and consistent approach to managing staff are adopted at all times.
"Other ad hoc duties


Working Hours
35 hours per week - Flexible shift pattern, 5 days from 6, Monday to Saturday between 9am and 7pm.

THE COMPANY

First People Solutions Group require an experienced Team Leader for our client, a leading retail consumer credit/finance organisation based in the southside of Glasgow.

EXPERIENCE
You must have excellent experience within a customer service environment (preferably within a call centre) together with people management experience. In addition you will have the ability to make accurate decisions and will have well-developed problem solving techniques. An excellent communicator with strong influencing skills, you should be able to work well with your team but also have the ability to work on your own initiative
