Our client is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Manager to run their busy warehouse for a reputable Scottish company.
This is a key role within the organisation with previous Warehouse management skills essential.
Responsibilities
The full warehouse function, including Goods In and Goods Out,
Meeting delivery targets are met consistently
To ensure that the whole function operates smoothly and efficiently
Running the administrative systems behind the scenes effectively
In charge of a team comprising both warehouse operatives and administrators and should be accustomed to managing and motivating a team.
Essential Skills / Experience
Significant hands-on experience of running a similar function
People & Team Management Experience
A proven track record of meeting delivery deadlines is essential.
A formal qualification in logistics would be preferable, as would a solid understanding of logistics software packages.
Excellent customer service skills required to liaise with clients and handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
