Our client is an established consultancy with an excellent record in the Power Sector. They are recruiting for candidates that have experience working on Steam or Gas Turbines. It ishoped that the candidate will be a Chartered Engineer with an engineering degree and a background in steam turbine design or operation. Experience in a contracting organisation, an OEM or within a consultancy is equally desirable. The candidate should have experience of large reheat steam turbines including condensers, feed heaters and bypass systems.
Duties will include assisting in the preparation of power plant specifications, the assessment of power station proposals and the review of contractors designs during project implementation.
The successful candidate must be articulate, with good report writing skills and able to work under their own initiative.
Additional experience in any of the following fields would by advantageous: -
Gas Turbine plants.
Balance of plant system.
Piping systems.
Project Management.
Preparation of Proposals.
Construction.
Testing and commissioning.
Desalination plant.
