| Commercially minded individual wanted for a highly successful Edinburgh practice. This practice is widely known with a respectable reputation, and offers excellent opportunity to develop your career. You will be required to manage the affairs of over 600 clients in the service, retail and wholesale sectors through the management of a dozen staff, including four managers/assistant managers. In addition, you will be expected to maintain and develop a profitable and efficient Business Advisory Group, by working with and reporting to the Business Advisory Group Director. To join this dynamic and successful business, you will have the following: CA or ACCA qualified Sound practice experience at manager level in a small/medium firm Experience with owner managed businesses and affairs including taxation, VAT, internal systems and procedures Experience of accounts preparation for partnerships, sole traders and limited companies Management accounting experience Sage – good knowledge of use, installation or training experience Extensive client facing experience with ability to understand client needs and communicate information clearly and effectively Experience of budgetary management (chargeable hours/fees/recovery rates) The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving license, and be IT literate including strong Word/Excel.
