Our Client a marketing services agency that leads the way in providing design, print and technology solutions to marketing problems, currently require a marketing/sales professional to join their Edinburgh based team

What we are looking for:

This is a newly created role that has come about due to a change in our external sales team. We are looking for a very driven individual who is comfortable working on their own initiative as this is quite a standalone role.

They would need to be Edinburgh based, with an understanding of the Scottish print and direct mail market. The role would be to sell print management services in Scotland, which is slightly different to selling print for an end manufacturer. In addition, a good knowledge of digital print and web to print systems, as well as direct mail would be a big advantage. Ideally this individual would also have a broad understanding of marketing, so as to be able to up-sell other areas of the business.

Experience:

At least 2-3 years sales experience, preferably in agency digital print and marketing solutions, however training will be given so experience within the print/marketing industry may be considered
Proven business development and sales maximisation skills
Awareness of margins and the impact on the business

Confident in dealing with clients
Good relationship building skills
Can work well without supervision
Can identify new leads on their own initiative
Willing to travel all over the UK and possibly further a field

Benefits:

£18-25k basic
2.5% commission on new sales. OTE £30k +
Bupa health care, after a qualifying period
5% Contributory pension, after a qualifying period
