Full Description:
Job Objective:
To inspect all incoming tools into inventory. To inspect newly assembled tools. To control tool performance tracking and inventories through traceable QA systems. Maintain tool identification. Ensure tools comply with internal quality systems / procedures / specifications and customer requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain Tool Tracking System
Maintain KPI Statistics Register in Information Management System
Measure Tool Performance
Maintain Tool Audit Trail
Maintain Tool History
Inspect New Tool Assemblies
Inspect Rental Tool Returns
Organise NDT or other Third Party Services as Required
Liaison with Operations Department
Liaison with Third Party Inspectors
Assist in Development of In House Operation Procedures
Coordinate Web Based Running Procedures
Assist in Measuring Equipment Calibration
Initiate Non Conformance Reports / QNs as Appropriate
Handle Special Projects as Assigned

Skill Requirements:
Experience in Similar QA/QC Environment
Excellent Mechanical Background with Ability to Interoperate Technical Units and Drawings
Excellent Communication Skills
Numerical Proficiency
Ability to Work with Own Initiative
Self Motivated
Be able to Work Alone or Part of a Team
Ability to Accurately Maintain Records
Conduct Internal Quality Audits
Ability to Investigate Non Conformances
Ability to Handle Difficult Situations with both Internal and External Parties
Basic Computer Skills e.g. Microsoft Packages
Organizational Skills

Education, Experience, Training:
City & Guilds / ONC in Engineering
Experience of Working within a Similar QA/QC Role
Thorough Mechanical/Technical Background Essential
Basic Computer Skills
Forklift Certificate Preferred
Knowledge of Well Bore Intervention equipment preferred
Experience of Working within an ISO 9001 Environment
