We are currently working in partnership with a client there who is actively recruiting Qualified CA' s to join their Audit Division in an Audit Managers role.

JOB DESCRIPTION - AUDIT MANAGER

To be responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients together with all aspects of service delivery To be responsible for managing a small team of senior and junior auditors as well as liaising with other Managers To undertake occasional ‘ad hoc' assignments for clients of the firm.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all aspects of client portfolio (service delivery, work in progress, billing and debtors) Coach and develop the staff members working within the team Communicate effectively at all levels for the benefit of your clients and the practice as a whole Develop new business (in conjunction with other partners or on your own initiative) Ensure and enforce excellent technical standards in all work undertaken

Apply and develop commercial skills for the benefit of your clients and the practice as a whole

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualified accountant Experience in an audit management role gained in public practice Good knowledge of UK and International accounting standards required Able to establish good relationships with clients and internally within the firm It would be desirable (but not essential) for the candidate to demonstrate experience in and knowledge of Jersey' s financial sector Strong technical skills required Able and willing to take a leading role in key projects for the firm and for clients Ability to develop our people (through training) and our business (through marketing initiatives) would be welcomed.

EDUCATION/ PROFESSIONAL REQUIRMENTS
