This role is key in supporting the delivery of a more focused set of services and delivery of an improved value proposition across all areas to deliver the strategic requirements of the plc.
• Provide a strategic partner / resource to aligned business areas to develop and enhance the performance of the business
• Work in partnership with HR Strategy & Policy and business leadership teams to understand business strategy and input to the shaping of the plc people strategy
• Work with the Business Partner to contribute to the shaping of Business Unit business and people strategies for aligned business area(s) ensuring both global and local initiatives are integrated
• Support the Business Partner in driving, delivering and measuring the impact of the people strategy for an aligned business area(s), making recommendations as appropriate
• Develop and maintain relationships with HR Shared Services and HR Strategy & Policy areas to ensure delivery of Business Unit and plc strategy
• Use corporate templates and processes to ensure a consistent approach to shaping, driving and evaluating business and people strategies
Experience required
• Educated to degree level or equivalent preferably with a relevant HR professional qualification such as MCIPD or MSC in HR Management
• Extensive experience of HR Consultancy gained either through broad generalist roles or in a number of specialist areas
• Experience in design and delivery of transformational HR interventions
• Proven track record of relationship management with key senior stakeholders and capability of managing relationships with senior leaders
• Excellent communication skills at all levels and ability to influence customers at senior levels
• Business operational experience gained through operational management within a business area or through a graduate trainee programme
