Description
Our client is a key operator in the Oil and Gas sector. They have a number of major fields both in the North Sea and a number of other key locations around the world. Due to continued globalisation of their procurement function they are currently looking to strengthen their team in the Aberdeen area.
With a view to strengthening their contracts team, the individual who is successful for this post will have the remit to manage a team of contracts analysts duties will include:
- Managing pre and post award processes
- Setting up tender processes
- Setting up and monitoring performance KPI's
- Optimising the tender and contractual process
- Managing rogue supply within the business
Skills
In order to be suitable for the role the client requires the following key skills
- Commercial Astuteness
- Negotiation Skills
- Strategic thinker who does not getinvolved in the detail
- Able to give strategic direction a business
- Able to build relationships and manage interfaces with other departments involved in the supply chain
The client would like to here from individuals who have a strong commercial background working for either a service company or another operator. They would also be open to individuals who have worked in other areas of industry within the heavy engineering sector.
The key element in all the candidates to be considered is that you have excellent contractual knowledge working on the initial set up stages of major supply contracts.
