Role description:
This is an important role with fantastic opportunities for the right person. You will be responsible for the managing the audits of key clients, mainly operating within the oil and gas sector. This will involve working closely with the Partners and key client staff to planning through to management of field teams and participation in closing meetings. You will take a value add approach, making a contribution to the on-going, or improved success of your clients' businesses.
Further responsibilities include:
- Development and coaching of junior members of staff
- Ensuring completion of audits/projects within agreed timescales
- Budgeting time allocation to assignments and explaining variances from budget
- Participation in due diligence or other transaction support engagements
- Drafting accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/IAS
Who we're looking for:
ACA/ ACCA or equivalent (preferably first time passes).
Impressive analytical capabilities
Highly motivated and committed
Positive and ambitious attitude
Up to date on current economic and market trends
Ability to develop strong client relationships
Highly proficient in written and oral communication
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
