Cosgrove Care, established in 1962, is a Scottish Charity for people with learning disabilities whose aim is to support all its people "to fulfil their potential in the journey of life". The Charity now assists over 120 adults, children and their families throughout central Scotland and beyond. Cosgrove aims to support its people to be independent, to have greater choices, to realise their potential and to be valued for their ethnic background, language, culture and faith. It is a nominated agency taking referrals from the local authorities for children and adults with a wide range of needs including adults returning to the community from institutional care and children with severe learning disabilities. Cosgrove is recognised as being proactive in developing services at the cutting edge, modelled on best practice.

Cosgrove is an IiP organisation and in 2001 was the winner of the National Charity Award for Management Excellence. It employs almost 100 staff, has over 80 volunteers. These staff are spread throughout 7 services in the East Renfrewshire area.
