Select Appointments has been established in Scotland for over 10 years. Our centrally located offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh ensure that we are able to attract a large pool of high quality candidates for permanent and temporary positions across the country.

Select in Scotland provides staff to a wide range of clients, who see our strengths as

We have expanded following increased demand and have the twin benefits of local ownership as a franchise and the national (and international) backup of the Select Group. This gives strong local knowledge and personalised service backed up by a comprehensive national network, providing both quality and scale. We have a large database of candidates continually refreshed through our innovative attraction campaigns.

Select also has a specialist Legal & Accountancy desk, supports industrial job placements through our industrial and engineering division, Parkhouse Recruitment, as well as placements in the hospitality sector via Select Hospitality. This allows end to end support to clients of a wide range of vacancies from office and administration through to engineers, project managers and manual positions.

We are pleased to offer a range of services:

• Research and advice on role requirements and market information

• Candidate sourcing and attraction, including targeted campaigns for individuals or defined candidate types and/or advertising where appropriate

• Telephone and online candidate screening

• Initial interview and registration, including testing as appropriate

• Arranging or conducting interviews (freeform or structured, such as competency based)

• Providing feedback to candidates

• Communicating offers to successful candidates

• Identity and eligibility checks

• Applications tracked from receipt through to successful starters
